You’ve all heard the phrase, “get your beauty sleep.” But have you ever put any credence into the saying? Well, I am here to tell you that it is a real thing. Getting 7-9 hours of sleep nightly can do wonders for your overall health and well-being, but it also is amazing (and natural) “therapy” for your skin and hair.
Here are just some highlights of what beauty sleep (7-9 hours per night) can do:
I usually get 8-9 hours of sleep nightly. Our whole family turns in at the same time each night — 9:00pm. I’d love to tell you that I do it for radiant skin, but I actually turn into a grumpy disaster at about 9:15pm, so it’s really to avoid that whole mess!
