I love makeup and beauty products and I love tying all the newest trends. I prefer work appropriate as well as age appropriate, so I’m not a fan of the bright colored cat eye and some of the other runway trends just don’t work on me. My typical makeup style for work is pretty natural with champagne colored eye shadow, a light dusting of blush and highlighter, black mascara and lip gloss or lipstick. I don’t wear eyeliner daily, but I do like to throw it into the routine once or twice a week.
I recently was given a Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Black. Now, as I’m sure most of you do, I have a favorite eyeliner already (Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil) and it is tough to compete with a favorite. That being said, the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliner went on incredibly smooth and stayed on. All day. Without smudging. On top of that, the price point for Rimmel Scandaleyes is only around $4 at Walmart compared to the $20 tag on the Urban Decay. It is definitely a worthy opponent and if you’re looking to save money on your beauty routine, I would highly recommend this Rimmel product. I have worn it several times, both with my glasses and without and each time I have been impressed with its staying power.
Speaking of the staying power, even after washing my face, it still lingered. Enter in: Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. Like most eye makeup removers, this one is safe to use with contact lenses. It does not irritate my eyes at all and is very effective at removing every last trace of makeup. And again, at around $8, it is a great beauty bargain.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
